How to download the ebook

The ebook will download to your computer if you have Adobe Reader installed (most computers do).  If not, you can get it free now by going to:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
Please note that any bonus ebooks on offer will be included in the one download. Bonus ebooks are not downloaded separately. So the one ebook contains the principal product plus the bonus products.

How to use the Activation Key

If you have a free synopsis of the ebook, but not the ebook itself, you do not need an Activation Key to open the synopsis.  Simply click on the ebook and it will open.

If you have purchased the ebook, an Activation Key (a code number) was emailed to you at the time of purchase.  You need this Activation Key to open the ebook for the first time, i.e. to convert the ebook synopsis into the full ebook(s) that you have purchased.

Please keep the Activation Key (i.e. the code number) in a safe place as you may need it in the future if copying or transferring the ebook to another computer. We suggest you create an entry in your address book:  make the ebook title the person’s name and make the Activation Key the person’s telephone number.  Also enter this website URL (www.deliveredonline.com) as the place to go if seeking ebook help.

How to open the ebook

Simply click on the ebook icon and it will open.  The ebook ‘package’ may contain more than one ebook.  To see a list of the ebooks (and bonuses if applicable) in the package that you have, click on ‘ebook’ in top left hand corner of screen.  Any grayed-out titles can be opened by simply buying an Activation Key.  To do this, click on ‘ebook’ in top left hand corner of screen and select ‘Purchase this ebook’.  Once purchased, you will be sent an Activation Key by email (keep the Activation Key safe).  To activate the grayed-out ebook(s), click on ‘ebook’ in top left hand corner of screen and select ‘Activate ebook’ (then enter your unique Activation Key - use Ctrl-V to paste).  Note:  Once activated, you can open the ebook anytime, without entering the Activation Key again.

How to gift the ebook

You may give the ebook to anybody as a gift if you wish. To do this, do not use the Activation Key, because once used, the ebook will only work on your computer. To give the ebook as a gift to another person, simply give them a copy of the ebook and let them know the Activation Key. To give out a copy of the ebook you can use a CD or floppy disk - alternatively send them to the ebook’s website where they can freely download a copy by clicking on ‘ebook synopsis.’  By using the Activation Key, the ebook synopsis will convert into the full ebook.  Note:  you may also send the book as an email enclosure, but for technical reasons it must be zipped, using something like WinZip.

How to 'tell-a-friend'

To tell somebody about this ebook you can either send them to the ebook’s website, or give them a copy of the ebook without the Activation Key.  This will allow the recipient to open the ebook and read a synopsis only.  To give out a copy of the ebook you can use a CD or floppy disk - alternatively send them to the ebook’s website and they can freely download a synopsis of the ebook.  You may also send the ebook as an email enclosure, but for technical reasons it must be zipped, using something like WinZip. Note that when you put the ebook on another computer and click on it, the ebook will open to display a synopsis of the ebook, but not the ebook itself.

How to transfer the ebook to another computer

You may need to transfer the ebook to another computer or a laptop, or re-install it on the same computer.  Alternatively, you may wish to give the ebook to another person as a gift, in which case the ebook will need to be transferred to another computer.  In all these situations you can easily transfer the ebook to another computer as follows:

1.      Find the Activation Key and make a note of the number.  The Activation Key was emailed to you when you first purchased the ebook.

2.      Copy the ebook onto a floppy disk or CD as a way of transferring the ebook to another computer.  Alternatively, email the ebook as an email enclosure, making sure you first zip the ebook using something like WinZip.  For technical reasons the ebook cannot be emailed as an enclosure unless it is zipped.

3.      Deactivate the ebook from the first computer:  click on ‘ebook’ in top left hand corner of ebook screen and select ‘Deactivate…’ from menu.  Note that you must be online to do this.

4.      Open the ebook on the new computer and activate it using the same Activation Code you used the first time you activated it on the other computer.  Note that you must be online to do this.  The ebook will now work on the new computer, but it will no longer work on the first computer.

How to view the ebook pages to best advantage

You may read the ebook on screen or print any section of the ebook you wish.  To read on screen it is best to adjust the text to a font size that is comfortable for you.  Do this as follows:

1.      See the ebook menu at the top of the screen and click the + or – sign to adjust the font size.

2.      Then turn pages using the arrows (see menu in top of ebook screen). Alternatively, use the scrolling bar at the right of the screen.

3.      Some ebooks contain bookmarks.  These are useful for jumping to different sections of the ebook.  To check if your ebook contains bookmarks, click on the ‘Bookmarks’ tab located on left side of screen.  To close the bookmarks, simply click ‘Bookmarks’ again.
